Validity period of documents for beneficiaries of temporary protection

Pursuant to Section 2 (4) of 196/2025 (8 July), the date of expiry (i.e., the end date of validity) of the residence permit documents of foreign nationals fleeing the Russian-Ukrainian war and recognised as beneficiaries of temporary protection by Hungary are valid up until 4 March 2027 under the legislation, regardless of the date of expiry indicated on the documents.

Pursuant to the abovementioned specific provision in legislation, the residence permits issued for beneficiaries of temporary protection are valid up until 4 March 2027 under the legislation, regardless that the date of expiry is being indicated as 4 March 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 on the documents.

Regarding these documents no further actions are required to be taken by the Clients concerned.

Термін дії документа про надання притулку

Термін дії документів про дозвіл на проживання іноземних громадян, які тікають від російсько-української війни та визнані Угорщиною біженцями, встановлюється на підставі розділу 2 (4) Постанови Уряду 196/2025 (VII. 8.) – замість терміну дії, фізично зазначеного в документі, встановлюється 4 березня 2027 року.

Відповідно до вищезазначеного правового положення, незалежно від того, чи термін дії виданого документа про надання притулку – 4 березня 2023, 2024, 2025 чи 2026 року, термін дії документа згідно із законом становить 4 березня 2027 року.

Від зацікавлених сторін не потрібно вживати жодних подальших дій щодо цих документів.
